The Chapel
Choir and Senior High Youth Group have been hard at work
preparing for Choir Tour/Work Camp 2008.

Choir Tour
2008 will kick-off with their Send-Off Concert on
Wednesday, July 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The tour
is titled “God’s Love Never Fails”.

The next
morning they will depart for churches and a nursing home in
Columbus, OH; Findlay, OH; and Hamburg NY, along with a free
day stop at Cedar Point in Ohio.

After tour,
most senior high choir members will meet up with other
senior high youth group members and advisors in Buffalo, NY
to participate in Work Camp 2008. They will work with the
Niagara Frontier Asbury Shalom Zone and will be staying at
the Harvest House in downtown Buffalo.
Please
remember these young adults and their advisors, who will be on
Choir Tour from July 10-14 and at Senior High Work Camp from
July 14-19, keeping them in your prayers. We hope to see you
at the Send-Off Concert!
LOOKING AHEAD
WELCOME DINNER for Rev. Cindy Schneider and Rev. Bill Beatty
is Wednesday, July 16 at 6:15 p.m. in the Christian Life
Center. Please join us in welcoming Cindy as well as Bill,
Lori, and daughters Rachel and Eliana to the Christ Church

ROUNDTABLE
HOSPITALITY COORDINATOR-Part of the Christ Church Round Table
Ministry, this position organizes and coordinates all meals
from beverage tables to breakfasts, luncheons, dinners,
baptism lunches, wedding receptions and funeral memorials. The
successful candidate for this position needs to be
people-oriented with strong organizational skills. Contact

PROGRAM
ASSISTANT NEEDED-One to two days per week from 8:30 a.m.- 3:30
p.m. Assist staff in creating a fun, pleasant day for our
elderly clients. Call Mary Ann Weber, PRIME TIME Director, at

MEDIA
COORDINATOR-Part-time position responsible for preparing and
operating the media (audio, visual, lighting and digital
media) for worship services. Additional duties include media
assistance for classes and workshops, creative input to
worship teams and train and organize a volunteer technical
team. If interested, please

SUMMER SERVICE
OFFERING-A men’s small group in the church is taking requests
for help with summer grass cutting. They are willing to cut a
few yards each week. If you are in need or know of someone if

OFFICE HELP!
Have you ever wondered what exactly goes on in the church
office? Well now is your chance to find out. We are currently
looking for someone to spend a few hours a day either in the
morning or afternoon to help answer phones, do light mailings,
and just be a friendly face to visitors. If you are
interested in volunteering your gift of hospitality, please

THE PIANO AND ENJOY BEING WITH CHILDREN? The music ministry is
looking for volunteer accompanists for children’s choirs.
Intermediate playing ability is needed. Children’s choirs
rehearse on Wednesday afternoons 4:30-5:30 p.m. and the choirs
sing in worship about once a month. If you are interested in
being part of this exciting ministry and helping to make a
positive impact on children’s musical and spiritual lives,

VBS pirate ship is set to sail July 21-25, 9:30-noon. All
hearty pirates, age 3 through grade 6, should be on deck!

tubes, plain colored felt and cotton material, empty water
bottles with lids, washable markers, poster board,
construction paper, small empty plastic margarine tubs, pony
beads, craft feathers, gold fish crackers, vanilla wafers,
Swedish fish, pretzel rods, rolls of paper towels, Cheerios,
Fruit Loops cereal. Monetary donations are always
appreciated.

TRIP TO JUMONVILLE-Mark your calendars! All post-highs are

informative tour about our local area history. Meet at church

head over to Sarris Candy afterwards for ice cream. Cost of
