We at
Christ United Methodist Church seek to reach and welcome all
children because children are an important part of God’s
family. We offer a
variety of experiences to nurture the spiritual growth of
children and their families.

morning worship hours and Sunday Night worship. During
the summer, "Kids Connect" is only available during the 10:30

Monthly Events
Kid’s
Clubs are for children in elementary
school. Each age group has a planned fellowship time,
complete with a supper, each month during the school year.
It’s a chance for healthy, active fun. There is always a
Christian message involved, and a chance to get to know other
kids in the church. These groups help the kids to feel that
they “belong” in the church.
Family FUN NIGHTS are events for kids of all ages
and their families. These events provide Christian-based
activities to strengthen and support families and to grow a
strong Christian community.
Vacation
Bible School
is always a
wonderful week in July when large groups of Christ Church
children and their friends gather for interesting mornings of
creativity, fun, food, music and worship. New friends are
made among both kids and moms.
Worship
Enrichment is one of two
special learning opportunities children have each year.
Worship enrichment is offered to 1st and 2nd
graders, along with a parent, for five Sunday mornings in the
winter. Children attend part of the worship service each week
and then go back to class and learn what it all means.
Communion Enrichment is a
study for 3rd and 4th graders for a
month each spring. They learn about the communion elements
and the meaning of the sacrament. The conclusion is a special
communion service for the children and their parents.
Nursery
care is available during all
weekend worship services.
