PRIME TIME Volunteer Opportunities

     Bulk Mailing Volunteer:  Prime Time Adult Care provides medical supervision and physical and mental stimulation during the weekdays to the frail elderly, those with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, and/or those individuals 18+ years of age with a physical disability. Bulk mailing volunteers are needed to affix mailing labels onto envelopes or newsletters, and to sort the finished product into groups according to zip codes.

     Community Resource Coordinator:  Prime Time Adult Care provides medical supervision and physical and mental stimulation during the weekdays to the frail elderly, those with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, and/or those individuals 18+ years of age with a physical disability.

A community resource coordinator is needed to set up an easily accessible file where individuals may learn of community services which support caregivers, (i.e. personal care facilities, meals on wheels, visiting nurse programs, etc.)

Individuals who have a desire to promote education and care-giving skills to enhance the lives of the elderly are encouraged.

     Program Entertainer:  Prime Time Adult Care provides medical supervision and physical and mental stimulation during the weekdays to the frail elderly, those with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia and/or those individuals 18+ years of age with a physical disability. Program entertainers are needed to share their love of music with our clients.

Individuals who have a desire to personally impact and help instill a greater quality of life for an elderly individual are encouraged.

     Program Volunteer:  Prime Time Adult Care provides medical supervision and physical and mental stimulation during the weekdays to the frail elderly, those with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia and/or those individuals 18+ years of age with a physical disability.

Program volunteers are needed to help serve our clients snacks and beverages, engage in conversation and dialogue, and/or assist with games, crafts, and activities.

Individuals who have a desire to personally impact and help instill a greater quality of life for an elderly individual are encouraged.

     Seminar Leader for Basic Care Issues:  Prime Time Adult Care provides medical supervision and physical and mental stimulation during the weekdays to the frail elderly, those with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, and/or those individuals 18+ years of age with a physical disability.

Seminar leaders are needed who will share their health care knowledge and expertise on basic care issues (i.e., lifting, transferring, nutrition, emergency procedures, etc.) and educate others on how to help individuals who are functionally impaired.  All clerical assistance will be provided for you in the coordination of these seminars.

      Individuals who have a desire to promote education and care-giving skills to enhance the lives of the elderly are encouraged.

     Seminar Leader for Illness Issues:  Prime Time Adult Care provides medical supervision and physical and mental stimulation during the weekdays to the frail, elderly and/or those individuals 18+ years of age with a physical disability.

Seminar leaders are needed who will share their health care knowledge and expertise on specific chronic illnesses and educate others on how to help individuals who are suffering.  All clerical assistance will be provided for you in the coordination of these seminars.
