August 3...Phipps Chocolate Exhibit 1 pm. This
exhibit explores the world’s obsession with chocolate and
includes samples! The Butterfly Forest will also be
open. Sign up by July 28 for advanced ticket purchase

August 8...Our Annual Canoe Trip to Hazelbakers in
Perryopolis. Meet At CUMC at 11:30 to carpool from CUMC.
Take a leisurely canoe trip down the Youghiogheny River.
$20.50 per person You can pair up with another SAM.
Bring a snack and something to share for a picnic
afterwards. (you’ll need to bring plates and stuff,
also). This is a truly fun day and a great way to cool
off on a hot summer day. Sign up in advance by August 1.

Playing Our Song” featuring the writing of Neil Simon,
the music of Marvin Hamlisch and lyrics by Carol Baker

will feature Dee Flaherty as a speaker, with breakout
discussion groups, an afternoon of Improv with Dry Bones
Productions, and a dinner celebrating with other singles
groups and alumni. This will be the event of the
year...Don’t miss it!
